"""The surprising triumph of this book is that, despite the ruthless trimming, Brontë’s voice can still be heard ... Faced with the task of turning a complex classic into an easy read, Landman has excelled"" -- Telegraph ""A superb adaption of the beloved classic, it beautifully captures the emotion and intense narrative voice of the original. For those who love Charlotte Brönte's original, this is the perfect partner. For those new to the story, it is the perfect introduction"" -- Scotsman ""A fluid, fluent work in its own right … In Landman, Jane has found the perfect translator to introduce her to modern teen readers"" -- South China Morning Post"
