"Author Greg Van Kirk is an award-winning social entrepreneur, strategic consultant, structured finance advisor, and educator who has worked, taught, and innovated in more than twenty-five countries. As president of Social Entrepreneur Corps, Greg led the start-up and operations in Guatemala, Ecuador, Nicaragua, South Africa, and the Dominican Republic. He created strategic partnerships, led program and curriculum design, and has been a ""Social Entrepreneurin-Residence"" at multiple colleges and universities. Greg was the lead designer of the award-winning MicroConsignment Model featured on NBC Nightly News, CNNMoney, and in The New York Times. He was also World Economic Forum's ""Social Entrepreneur of the Year for 2012 (Latin America),"" a two-timeAshoka Globalizer Fellow, and was awarded The Bishop Medal by the Miami University Alumni Association. Greg currently works as a strategic consultant, supporting various international organizations.
