George Wang, PhD, PEng, F.ASCE, brings extensive professional experience across Australia, Canada, and the United States, with a long-standing career in both industry and academia. He currently holds the position of Gregory Poole Distinguished Professor of Construction Management at East Carolina University, where his teaching and research focus on infrastructure construction, sustainable technologies, and materials. Dr. Wang actively contributes to several technical committees, including those of ASCE, TRB, and ASTM, and is a lifetime member of ACCE. Jennifer Brandenburg, PE, is a professional engineer with over 35 years of experience in government transportation agencies and the private sector. She holds a degree in civil engineering from North Carolina State University and has overseen numerous transportation infrastructure projects. Jennifer has also held senior management positions in the transportation industry and is currently an adjunct faculty member in construction management at East Carolina University. Don Chen, PhD, LEED, has more than 30 years of experience in the engineering field. He is a professor at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, teaching courses on Highway Design and Construction, Applied Analytics and Machine Learning, and Building Information Modeling (BIM). His research focuses on pavement performance evaluation and pavement management, emphasizing improving roadway network performance through local calibration, performance modeling, and deep learning.
