Richard C. Detmer, Middle Tennessee University Richard C. Detmer, received his Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin, Madison in 1972. He has been a university instructor since then, serving at five different institutions. Currently he is the Chairperson of the Computer Science Department at Middle Tennessee State University.
