Dr. Galli graduated as DDS in 2002, obtained a PhD in bone physiology at the University of Parma, a Postgraduate certificate in Systematic reviews at the University of Milan, worked as a Postdoctoral fellow at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. When he returned to Italy, he obtained a Postgraduate certificate in Clinical research methods and became Assistant Professor in Biomaterials in 2013 at Unipr. He focused his research on scaffolds for tissue regeneration, founded a startup company based on his research and was Chief Scientific Officer. Dr. Galli became Associate Professor in 2017 and moved to the Histology Institute. He received a Postgraduate certificate in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, University of Texas at Austin in 2020 and a Postgraduate certificate in Academic Practice at the University of Liverpool in 2023.
