This new book highlights evidence-based research and practices in the education sector for the integration of mindfulness in the education system. This book goes beyond traditional approaches to mindfulness in education by offering a holistic perspective. Stressing the importance of mindfulness in education as a means to sustainable development, this volume explores how mindfulness education can help students achieve psychological peace. Moral and human values are explored, and chapters also explore topics such as examination reforms, holistic progress cards, integrating human values in management education, value-based learning education, mindfulness and self-identity, and more.

A conscious attempt to reform the current education system, this book is a small effort to integrate mindfulness in education for holistic development. It will be an essential resource for anyone interested in promoting well-being and learning in educational settings, particularly policymakers, teachers, as well as students and educational researchers.
