Innovations in Cardio-Oncology: Artificial Intelligence, Digital Health, and Precision Medicine examines the benefits of big data analysis and future advancements in individualized medicine in cardio-oncology. It helps readers understand and maximize the benefits of existing AI algorithms by integrating AI and digital health technologies into the clinical workflow exploring AI orchestration, testing of AI applications, processing steps, active involvement and collaboration of qualified employees, and many other factors. In 42 chapters Innovations in Cardio-Oncology: Artificial Intelligence, Digital Health, and Precision Medicine introduces cardio-oncology and describes the prevention, screening and surveillance in cardio-oncology, followed by several chapters on the emerging role of the applications of mHealth, telemedicine, and Artificial intelligence in cardio-oncology. 5 chapters are dedicated to innovative development in cardiology oncology. The book also highlights many societal and evidence based recommended pathways for equitable digital health deployment and utilization in cardio-oncology care. This book also anticipates that exposing the potential for AI algorithms and innovative health tools widens the already existing healthcare disparities including inequalities related to race, ethnicity, gender, socioeconomic level, lack of health insurance, linguistic and cultural barriers, systemic discrimination, and limited healthcare access. This reference is a valuable practical guidance for healthcare professionals to integrate digital health platforms into their clinical practice models and multi-stakeholder group from academia, technology, and industry with a shared interest in applying Innovation (Digital Health, mHealth, Telemedicine, Telehealth, Informatics, Precision Health, Computational Medicine, Social Media, Artificial Intelligence including Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing, and Neural Networks, & more) to Cardiology and Oncology clinical practice, research, and education.
