I am a general practitioner and skin cancer doctor who emigrated from Sudan to Australia in 1995 on a Special Assistance Visa. I graduated from the University of Khartoum, Faculty of Medicine, in 1984. I was determined to forget the hardship that my family and I endured in Sudan and concentrated my efforts on building a future for myself, and offering my family a dignified lifestyle and future. By the help of God, my church, family, friends, and Australia, I can say that I have achieved my goals, thanks to the graces bestowed on me from my Lord Jesus Christ.I love sports, music, and songs. I enjoy teaching my general practice registrars, and see them as competent, efficient, and valuable to the community. I love reading books that can answer my doubts and queries, and are peaceful but honest and truthful. We need to say the truth in our troubled world, driven by hope, aiming at peace, guided by love, to expose deception, reject hate, and admonish hostility. Hopefully we, Jews, Christians, and Muslims can find a common place where we can share our hostility free knowledge and behaviour with each other in our unique identity and peacefully and harmoniously exchanging views and be free to choose whatever faith we decide on.
