It has been decades since many business schools outside India adopted the case study methodology for teaching almost all branches of management studies. This trend has been seen in India, too, where top management institutes have implemented the case study-based methodology as an important pedagogical tool in business education. The major issue in India, however, is a severe shortage of Indian case studies through which business schools can provide industry insights to students. This volume fills that gap. It has twenty Indian cases related to different aspects of business management. The cases cover some of the prominent disciplines of management like marketing, finance, human resource management, strategy management, operations management, accounting, and mergers and acquisitions. These cases best serve the purpose of adoption of 'case methodology' in classroom teaching or online lecture sessions for the faculty and students of business management.

Dr. Sandeep Pachpande is an alumni of Harvard Business School. He has completed executive programmes from Kellogg and Babson and is an MBA Gold Medallist from Leeds Metropolitan University, UK. He is the Chairman of Audyogik Shikshan Mandal (ASM), a premier education trust providing quality education from KG to PG. Dr. Asha Pachpande is a Ph.D from Pune University. She is the founding director of ASM Group of Institutes and also a trustee. She is a member of the All India Management Association, New Delhi. As an educationist she has been recognized at the highest forums, and is the recipient of many prestigious awards at state and national levels. Updated author bio: Professor J A Kulkarni is Associate Professor with the ASM Group of Institutes. A Mechanical Engineering graduate, he has completed a Masters in General Management from Carl Duisberg Gesellshaft (CDG) Germany, and also the management module in Strategic Management from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Kozhikode.
