Charis Mather is a children’s author at BookLife Publishing who has a love for writing stories.  Charis enjoys both reading and writing about the weird and wonderful, whether from the real world or from the imagination. Her studies in linguistics and experience working with young readers have given her a knack for writing material that suits a range of ages and skill levels. Charis is passionate about producing books that emphasise the fun in reading and is convinced that no matter how much you already know, there is always something new to learn. Normally a designer and illustrator by trade, Norfolk-born Drue Rintoul has been a member of the BookLife Publishing team since its inception, where he has worked on hundreds of books. His passion for illustration began as a child, and he continues to pursue this love both inside and outside of work. Drue resides in King’s Lynn with his partner and cat.   Born and raised in Norfolk, Drue Rintoul graduated from Sheffield Hallam University in 2013 with a BA(Hons) in Graphic Design, and soon after joined the BookLife Publishing team. During his tenure at BookLife, he has overseen the growth and management of the design team as well as having designed and illustrated hundreds of books. His love for design and illustration spans from early childhood and he continues to pursue these passions outside of work, having completed numerous commissions for clients. He currently resides in King’s Lynn with his partner and cat.
