Sailboats, sharks, and shipwrecks, ultimately leading to salvation.

In Deep Waters is not just a tale of the sea; it is a profound journey into the depths of the human soul. The author, a commercial diver, navigates the treacherous waters of life, facing rogue waves, boat malfunctions, and violent storms. Tempestuous relationships, shipwrecks, and battles with alcohol, prescription pills, and drug addictions mark his life as unstable as the sea. These external challenges mirror the internal turmoil Kenton Otto faces, stemming from childhood demons that haunt him.

As he dives deeper into the dark, terrifying waters of his psyche, he shares his adventures and the demons with which he wrestles. His story is one of resilience, survival, and the relentless pursuit of redemption. It is a testament to the human spirit's capacity to endure and overcome even the most harrowing of circumstances. In all his harrowing experiences, he acknowledges someone greater than himself was watching over him.

Kenton married twice, fought addictions, and suffered temporary bouts of depression. He moved to Vancouver in 2005, where he has lived ever since.
