Jorge H. P. Ramos is an Integrated Researcher of the Research Centre for Tourism, Sustainability and Well-being (CinTurs) at the University of Algarve, Portugal. He has worked on socioeconomics related to coastal issues, particularly ecotourism, small-scale fisheries and offshore aquaculture. His research interests include aspects related to ecotourism, stakeholder analysis, artificial reefs, among other areas. He holds a PhD in Fisheries Economics and Management, a PgC in Social Research Methods, a MSc in Fisheries Economics (University of Portsmouth, UK) and a graduate degree in Marine Biology and Fisheries (University of Algarve, Portugal).
