Educated at Ravenshaw College, Cuttack and Utkal University, Bhubaneswar, Jugal Kishore Mishra retired as Professor of Political Science, Berhampur University, Odisha. He was President, Indian Political Science Association (IPSA). At present, he is Professor, Madhusudan Das Research Chair, Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar.Professor Mishra has authored several books and monographs on aspects of international relations, public policy, gender studies and dalit studies. He has edited 'The Undying Legacy of Madhusudan Das' and 'Biju Patnaik & the Making of Modern India'. Professor Mishra has been invited to several conferences and seminars in India and abroad. Debamitra Mishra is an independent writer from Odisha with over seven years of experience across digital-print journalism, content strategy, public relations, advertisement, and editorial leadership.
