What if the new kid on the football field wasn't from your town, or even your world?

When Sublimious Z. Hormats (better known as ""Clancy"") arrives at Callister Cascades High, he looks like any other lanky teenager trying to fit in. But behind his strange mannerisms and blazing speed is a secret mission: to master America's most sacred ritual, high school football, and report back to a distant homeland.

Thrown into the rough and tumble world of teenage athletes, eccentric classmates, and small-town pride, Clancy must balance loyalty to his mysterious Emissary with the friendships, rivalries, and heartbreaks of human life. As victories mount and suspicions grow, one question lingers: can he keep his identity hidden long enough to secure a future for his people and himself?

Fast paced, funny, and full of heart, I Came to Play Your Game is a coming-of-age tale with a sci-fi twist, where Friday night lights meet otherworldly stakes.

If you love underdog stories with a touch of the extraordinary, crack open this book and discover the game changing secret for yourself.
