""These two manuals provide the best of both worlds of practice and research. They are the result of years of application and rigorous research into the effectiveness of a function-based approach to obsessive compulsive behavior. I highly recommend them to families, practitioners and researchers."" Peter Sturmey, PhD ""Based on over 20 years of research and clinical practice, this innovative program provides a practical, accessible approach to treating the obsessive-compulsive behaviours often seen in autistic (and other) children. Though flexible and individualized, it is very systematic and well-structured and is thoroughly grounded in theory and data. It could be billed as cognitive BEHAVIOUR therapy, with the solid theoretical base of functional behaviour assessment providing an invaluable improvement on existing CBT methods.""
