As a child Anne Pepper was called the cow's tail because she was always last. Despite being a dreamer, she managed to grow up to lead a practical life of earthly pursuits. Along the way she never lost her sense of the mystical element of life and it is from this that she writes. Anne has a degree in English Literature with distinction from McGill University and spent many years as a writer for other people. She taught writing for several years in Vancouver at the University of British Columbia and at Simon Fraser University. Anne lives in a small town in British Columbia, Canada and has three children.
"""Fun, sensual, whimsical, wise, mystical, and unexpected. This volume of poems is as wild and tender as being in love. Anne Pepper is a word magician."" -Maryse Cardin, author of Self Talk Love for Sensitives and 5-Minute Morning Magic ""I Am Your Connection"" by Anne Pepper is a poignant exploration of romantic relationships through soulful love poems. Among the gems, ""The Nature of Love"" and ""The Visitor"" stand out for me. Lines like ""We have become aware / Of how tenderly / We must treat each other"" showcase Pepper's depth and sensitivity, emphasizing the shared responsibility for relationship harmony. Pepper's collection adeptly portrays the complexities of love with the view that love is a microcosm of our connection with nature. -Norah Borden, Artist ""...a very gifted poet! I think that poetry, at its best, peels away layers - allowing the reader to connect more deeply with his/her essential self in a non-conceptual way.... This poetry certainly has that effect..."" Tim Johnson, Buddhist practitioner. ""Amazing. Left me breathless... the new Rumi."" Ronaye Ireland, Healer ""...light, fluid and deep at the same time. I really like this style of expression."" Pali Finger, Spiritual Practitioner, France. ""Oh my heart just burst...I think it's happiness... that pure unaltered-state of happiness that comes from witnessing authenticity and of course [the] ability to curate brilliant ideas and express them so creatively... a deep long and gracious bow."" Laurie Inouye, Designer ""Very powerful."" Esther Chase, Waldorf Educator"
