Assam, India is world-renowned for its One-horned rhinoceros; it's the symbol of pride. It's only found in two countries in South Asia. Majority being in Assam. If the rhinos are wiped out of Assam, in no time they will be extinct from this world. In Assam, protecting rhinos from hunting, popularly known as rhino poaching, is not the responsibility of the government alone; it's a social responsibility of everyone residing in Assam. The primary reason for rhino poaching is for its horn, which is the sole reason for its population decline. Due to its rarity and high demand, the prices of the horn go up according to the wishes of the buyer and seller in the clandestine markets of the world.
