Jingyuan Zhao obtained her PhD in Management Science and Engineering from University of Science and Technology of China. Dr. Zhao's research expertise includes management of technology innovation, innovation and entrepreneurship, behavior and information technology, regional innovation systems and global innovation networks, high-tech industries, multinational governance, and science and technology policy. She has teaching experience of 15 years at the graduate and undergraduate level. Research portfolio includes peer-reviewed articles in highly regarded journals, authored books, multiple book chapters, and conference presentations. She serves as editor-in-chief of International Journal of e-Collaboration(IJeC), a Scopus indexed journal. Polinpapilinho F. Katina is an Associate Professor in the Department of Informatics and Engineering Systems at the University of South Carolina Upstate (Spartanburg, South Carolina, USA). He has served in various capacities at the National Centers for System of Systems Engineering (Norfolk, Virginia, USA), Old Dominion University (Norfolk, Virginia, USA), Politecnico di Milano (Milan, Italy), Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (Daytona Beach, Florida, USA), The University of Alabama in Huntsville (Huntsville, Alabama, USA), and Syracuse University (Syracuse, New York, USA). He holds a B.S. in Engineering Technology (Old Dominion University, Norfolk, Virginia, USA), M.Eng. in Systems Engineering (Old Dominion University, Norfolk, Virginia, USA), and Ph.D. in Engineering Management and Systems Engineering (Old Dominion University, Norfolk, Virginia, USA). He received additional training at the Politecnico di Milano (Milan, Italy) in the Energy Department in the Nuclear Division - Laboratory of Signal Analysis and Risk Analysis. His research is focused in the areas of Complex System Governance, Critical Infrastructure Systems, Decision Making and Analysis, Emerging Technologies (e.g., IoT), Energy Systems (Smart Grids), Engineering Management, Infranomics, Manufacturing Systems, System of Systems, Systems Engineering, Systems Pathology, Systems Theory, and Systems Thinking. His profile includes nearly 200 peer-reviewed journal articles, conference proceedings, and book chapters. He has also co-authored eleven (11) books [5 monographs & 6 edited]. He is a Senior Member of IEEE and Epsilon Mu Eta (Engineering Management Honor Society), ABET Program Evaluator, and journal editor for several journals: Advanced Manufacturing (ELSP), Control and Engineering of Complex Systems Frontiers in Complex Systems (Frontiers Media SA), Cureus Journal of Engineering (Springer/Nature), Discrete Dynamics in Nature and Society (John Wiley), International Journal of Critical Infrastructures (Inderscience), and International Journal of System of Systems Engineering (Inderscience). Joseph Richards joined the marketing faculty at CSUS in 2001. He holds a doctorate in Marketing with further specialization in Econometrics from Syracuse University. He is an active researcher in the fields of Internet related aspects of consumer behavior, marketing strategy, marketing analytics, and statistical and quantitative marketing models. Recent research and focus is in big data analytics. His publications have appeared in many leading journals.
