Daniel Chitrada serves as a Lecturer of Systematic Theology at the Centre for Global Leadership Development in Bengaluru, India. He holds a ThM from Princeton Theological Seminary. Throughout his academic tenure there, he cultivated a profound appreciation for the works of Karl Barth. His objective is to present the extensive theology of Karl Barth to English-speaking Christians in a manner that is accessible to the majority of individuals.
""Chitrada has produced a remarkably short and helpful guide to reading Barth's masterpiece. The tightly written text follows the organization of Barth's original closely, to orient new students of the Church Dogmatics and help them find their way. Each section also includes many brief quotations to enable readers to hear Barth's own voice. Students will be very grateful for someone brave enough to compress the Church Dogmatics into a small book!"" --Elsie Anne Tshimunyi McKee, Archibald Alexander Professor of Reformation Studies and History of Worship, Emerita, Princeton Theological Seminary ""Readers of Daniel Chitrada's excellent primer will be emboldened and excited to find themselves in a sturdy and safe vessel to navigate the wondrous ocean of Barth's theology. Once drawn into Barth's brilliant theological cadences, they will receive a confident grasp of the basic framework of Barth's theology and will find much to strengthen their Christian discipleship and passion to serve a world loved by the Triune God."" --Jacob Cherian, Professor of New Testament, Centre for Global Leadership Development, Bangalore
