This is a beautiful collection of flowers for the beginner artist, with step-by-step instructions and clear illustrations. Each flower is broken down into six easy steps. By adding a few simple shapes a stage at a time, it is possible to create a very realistic drawing of a flower. There is then the opportunity to either create a shaded version either in pencil, or in colour. There is such a wide variety of flowers within the 100 images, from African Blue Lily to Yellow Loosestrife, with examples of both wild flowers and garden flowers, each one with exquisite, but achievable detail. Whether you are looking to improve your drawing skills or want to find a perfect way to relax, this delightful book is full of inspiration.
