Sarah Murphy is the owner of Alchemilla apothecary, a modern herbal dispensary and integrative wellness clinic located on the beautiful north Cornwall coast. Sarah trained as an herbalist at the College of Naturopathic Medicine in London, and has been in clinical practice for over 12 years. Her special interests lie in the herbal treatment of skin conditions and alternative therapies for supporting people with anxiety and PTSD. Sarah produces her own range of specialist tinctures manufactured from locally grown plants, and has developed her own skin care range based on the medicinal properties of Kigelia africana (otherwise known as the sausage tree.) She enjoys collecting and researching traditional recipes from around the world, and has a keen interest in the history of herbal medicine and forgotten plants. She is a member of the Herb Society of Great Britain, and runs regular herb walks and classes on many diverse topics related to herbs and health.
