Cancer is a complex aberrated biochemical disease that highly variable in its appearance, development and symptoms differ from one patient to the other. It arises from multiple alterations in physical, environmental, metabolic, chemical and genetic factors. Cancer formation is an enduring process with controlling factors that can either enhance or delay the life hostile disease. Induction of cancer involves multistep processes leading cells to proliferate in rapidly and in uncontrolled manner. Cancer cells originate from normal cell transformation whereby they acquire capability to proliferate abnormally and finally turn into malignancy. Many of the cancer cells have ability to detach from location of their original site. Cancer cells have capability to escape immune system and proliferating away from its normal limit. It is leading cause of morbidity and mortality worldwide with an estimated 8.2 million deaths, 14 million new cases are predicted to arise from 2012 to 22 and 32.6 million people suffering from this disease. Previous data have shown that globally 8% deaths from cancer and 6 % of all death in India. In India 5,00,000 people die every year. It is an estimated that rate of cancer deaths are expected to increase with population growth and this number likely to increase about 7,00,000. The most commonly diagnosed cancers are lung cancer(1.35 million), breast(1.15million) and colorectal (1 million) cancers.
