This is a beautiful book. It takes up an aspect of Heidegger’s work that is highly poetic and, in its poetry, evocative of a sense of astonishment and awe before the divine. Of course, it is a work of philosophy, but the essays, in addition to being well written, use a rigorous interrogation of the concept of the Holy to also evoke a sense of peaceful wonder. -- Scott M.
