It's a must-read for anyone on the path to recovery and self-empowerment! I couldn't put it down. Very sad and disturbing account of author Donna's struggles throughout her life. I am amazed at her strength, tenacity and willingness to disclose such revealing details. Thankful she managed to find a way to peace and happiness. I just finished reading this book. I got it delivered on Sunday morning and finished reading it Sunday night. Although it was difficult to read the turmoil Donna had going on, its empowering to know that there is light at the end of the tunnel. Donna brought forth this message in a truthful way. I particularly loved the honesty of her story. It's a true story of triumph over darkness. I read the book in an afternoon. It is shocking what this woman went thru at an early age. I was impressed that after all these years Donna has finally found peace.
