Tony Fincham, current Chairman of The Thomas Hardy Society, has been exploring Hardy's Wessex for the last thirty-five years. He has previously published a series of guides to local footpath walks and more recently Hardy the Physician, a medical interpretation of Thomas Hardy's life and works.
