Dr. Mukesh Nandave is an associate Dean (Research), Head, School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, and head of the Department of Pharmacology and Pharmaceutical Biotechnology at Delhi Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research University, Govt. of NCT of Delhi, New Delhi, India. He has earlier served as Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Pharmacology at NMIMS University, Mumbai (2010–2017). He has also worked as Research Scientist in the Medical Affairs and Clinical Research Department of Ranbaxy Research Laboratories (currently known as Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Limited, Gurugram). Dr. Nandave earned his Ph.D. in pharmacology from AIIMS, Delhi, and received his post-doctoral training from the Ohio State University Medical Center, Columbus, USA. For more than 20 years, Dr. Nandave has been engaged in investigating the role of nutraceuticals, herbomineral formulations, and phytoconstituents for myocardial ischemia and reperfusion injury, diabetes, obesity, and pain management. He has published more than 150 papers in peer-reviewed national and international journals. He has also published 7 books and 40 book chapters. He also owns three Indian patents to his credit. His lab received more than 3.9 crore total funding from Govt. (DBT, DST, ICMR and AYUSH) as well as industry (Pharmazz, Dabur, Charak, Madhavbaug, Sandu). He is also serving as an expert member in ICMR, SERB, and AYUSH. Dr. Ramendra Pati Pandey is a professor in the department of biotechnology and microbiology at SRM University, Sonepat, India. He has been awarded the European Federation of Immunological Societies (EFIS) Travel Award (2012), the British Society of Immunology Travel Award (2012), the Federation of Immunological Societies of Asia Oceania Young Scientist Award (2012 and 2015), the American Association of Immunologists Travel Award (2013), the International Union of Immunological Societies Travel Award (2013), and the Federation of Clinical Immunology Societies Travel Award (2017). He has been elected as a member of the National Academy of Sciences, India (2021), and selected as an Associate Member of the esteemed Academy ""International Academy of Physical Sciences, Prayagraj (2022), elected as a member of the National Academy of Medical Sciences (2022), elected as a member of the National Academy of Biological Sciences (2023), National Environmental Science Academy (2023), and Sigma Xi the Scientific Research Honor Society (2023). He has been awarded the NESA Scientist of the Year Award 2023 by the National Environmental Science Academy, India, and selected for the Shri. Om Prakash Sharma Award from the Indian Academy of Biomedical Sciences 2023 for his outstanding contributions in the field of biomedical sciences, especially in basic translational research, and is the recipient of the Polyfeenolix-IIS Best Mid-Career Immunology Teacher Award 2023, in the 50th IMMUNOCON in October 2023. Dr. Jyoti Upadhyay is Senior Associate Professor at the School of Health Sciences & Technology, UPES, Dehradun, with a focus on maternal and child health, particularly postpartum depression and birth defects. She earned her PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Kumaun University, Nainital, where she studied the impact of persistent organic pollutants on birth defects. Her M.Pharm in Clinical Pharmacy from Uttarakhand Technical University earned her a Gold Medal with a thesis on the bioavailability effects of rhododendron flower juice on Amlodipine in rats. Dr. Upadhyay has been recognized for her academic excellence and research achievements at UPES. She holds memberships in prestigious organizations such as the Indian Pharmacological Society (IPS) and the International Academy of Cardiovascular Sciences (IACS). Her academic roles have included Coordinator at the Adverse Drug Reaction Monitoring Centre, UPES, under the National Coordination Centre, Pharmacovigilance Programme of India, and various teaching and research positions.
