Aisling D'Art is still a hippie. She was part of the hippie movement back in the late 1960s, when Timothy Leary stood on a Cambridge (MA) street corner, advocating turn on, tune in, drop out. And, she was at Cambridge Common most Sundays, usually in the front row at the weekly free concerts. There, she'd hear groups like the Allman Brothers, and Lothar and the Hand People, and musicians like Richie Havens... and anyone else performing at Boston-area clubs & concert halls. They'd all show up at Cambridge Common for a set or two.So, it was like Woodstock, every week, when the weather was pleasant. And today, it's part of who Aisling is, and the art she creates.
