or over a generation, the Christian Youth Travel Association (CYTA) provided countless opportunities for young adults to travel safely around Australia and across the world. As well as adventure and excitement, each tour included the reading and sharing of the Holy Bible as an integral part of each experience, though tours were for all young people regardless of faith. This is the story of CYTA, its tours around the world, the new Christian music industry it spawned in Australia, and the many treasured musical artists, speakers and preachers who also joined the tours. CYTA was a signifi cant part of life for every young Christian volunteer who joined the original six directors in operating Christian youth tours, as well as the thousands who toured with the organisation. With thanks to the enduring work of CYTA founders, Kevin Craik OAM and Jan Craik OAM.
