After Maru Etta-Nkwelle's husband went to be with the Lord in 2011, she decided to spend her time teaching children's Sunday school and directing summer vacation bible school programs. She has served in children's ministry since 2012, inspiring children to have a relationship with God through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Additionally, she belongs to numerous community intercessory prayer groups for children and families and supports children's programs around the world. She is also a mother, aunty, sister, friend, and university professor who loves to pray. INTRODUCTION AND BOOK DESCRIPTION: God is Good: Give thanks to the Lord for He is Good is based on the bible verse 1 Thessalonians 5:18 ""in everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you"". God is Good goes back to the beginning (Genesis 1) and inspires children of up to six-years-old to learn to give thanks to God (like king David in the Psalms) for who He is and what he has created. Children will learn to be grateful, learn about their environment, new words, different animals, and more while gaining knowledge of God's good and wonderful creations.
