Sue Houser is a retired social worker/play therapist who offered a space for children, and adults, to express themselves through sand tray work, art, and play. Her award-winning books that reflect New Mexico's diverse culture are: Anais Savariau received her BFA in Visual Communications from New Mexico Highlands University Media Arts & Technology in 2023. She enjoys learning about global society, art and culture, and these passions have helped inform and inspire her work. She loves to challenge herself with the process of illustrating stories for, and about others. Her portfolio includes graphic design and illustration for private clients and public institutions. Goat for Rent is her first children's book.
