The intersection of English for Specific Purposes (ESP) and specialized translation represents a critical area of study within applied linguistics and language education. As globalization accelerates, the demand for professionals who are not only proficient in their respective fields but also capable of navigating the linguistic complexities inherent in specialized texts has never been greater. This convergence is marked by a unique synergy where language instruction is enriched by real-world applications, and translation practices are underpinned by advanced pedagogical principles. Global Perspectives in English for Specific Purposes and Specialized Translation showcases innovative approaches, case studies, and cutting-edge research surrounding the intersection of ESP and specialized translation. It highlights the mutual benefits and challenges of this intersection, providing a multifaceted perspective on the current state and future directions of these interrelated fields. Covering topics such as assessment, intercultural professional communication, and resource-constrained contexts, this book is an excellent resource for educators, researchers, translators, interpreters, students, industry professionals, policymakers, curriculum developers, and more.
