""Charles Erlandson is one of our best priests and theologians. This is an incomparable companion to prayerful Bible study that ought to be the joy of every Christian."" --Gerald McDermott, author of A New History of Redemption: The Work of Jesus the Messiah Through the Millennia ""Charles Erlandson's final volume of Give Us This Day Devotionals brings his lectio on the New Testament to a close. His astute and thoughtful meditations allow the reader not only to learn from God's word but to engage in their own lectio on Erlandson's rich commentary. This is the fruit of years of study and meditation and having it in print for the benefit of others is a gift to the church."" --Greg Peters, Professor, Torrey Honors College, Biola University ""For those of us who have appreciated the previous volumes of Pastor Erlandson's Give Us This Day Devotionals, the publication of this final book in the series is cause for great delight. For readers who are just now discovering these gems: you are in for quite the adventure. Brace yourself for fresh depth, insight, and joy in the Scriptures."" --George Grant, Pastor, Parish Presbyterian Church, Franklin, Tennessee ""Charles Erlandson has given us a remarkable gift. Apart from providing insight into God's word, he shares with us the time-honored concept of lectio divina, a method that has proven to be helpful for many generations of Christians. In his presentations, he brings the word of God alive. He offers very helpful advice in his introduction that wonderfully guides the reader in allowing the Bible to permeate our hearts and minds."" --Keith L. Ackerman, SSC, Bishop Emeritus, Eighth of Quincy
