Chen Tzoref-Ashkenazi is Guest Researcher at the South Asia Institute, Heidelberg, where he is working on a project entitled German Auxiliary Troops and the Colonialism Discourse of the Eighteenth-Century. This work grew out of his PhD dissertation published in 2009 as Der romantische Mythos vom Ursprung der Deutschen: Friedrich Schlegels Suche nach der indogermanischen Verbindung.
