Student’s Book: 9 units, each comprised of 3 lessons. This is the main book of the course and focuses on oral communication (everyday, functional language).Communication is taught through a variety of activities as well as games, songs and chants. Every lesson introduces a letter and simple age-appropriate words and phrases, as well as speaking and vocabulary exercises.
The Story: Our youngest learners are Maki, the rambunctious monkey, Eleni and Niko, the characters we know and love from our Geia Xara series. These fun-loving characters help students learn the basics: the letters, their proper pronunciation, words, and basic frequently used phrases.
Practice: There is thorough practice of all skills – with a focus on Listening, Speaking, Writing and Reading to be taught depending on the age of the student – in each unit as well as featured oral communication sections with plenty of exercises for practice. Students receive the necessary building blocks to excel at the preschool level and start their progress toward speaking and basic writing.
Speaking Practice: Each lesson contains a communication exercise which encourages and gives students the confidence to speak orally. The accompanying video animations reinforce proper pronunciation for letters and words.
