She continued her academic journey at Freed-Hardeman University, where she earned both an Education Specialist (Ed.S.) and a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) degree. Before retiring at the age of 56, Brenda enjoyed a fulfilling career as a dedicated educator, lifelong learner, and passionate advocate for personal growth and resilience.Her knowledge of real estate empowered her to make wise financial decisions, including purchasing multiple homes, building a mortgage-free home, and acquiring commercial property with plans for future development. Brenda's passion for real estate grew stronger after retirement, leading her to enroll in FastTrack Real Estate School. There, she connected with her broker and CEO, Cheryl Harris, and entered a new and exciting chapter of her professional life.In her twenties, Brenda successfully operated several businesses. Though those ventures were not her true calling at the time, they taught her invaluable lessons about perseverance, commitment, and entrepreneurship principles she learned early in life from her parents. She understands that many people share similar beginnings and that with the right mindset, they can overcome obstacles and build something meaningful.
