Ziad Eletr, Ph.D., was born outside of Atlanta, Georgia, earning his bachelor's degree from the University of Georgia and his doctoral degree in Biochemistry and Biophysics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Ziad eventually entered the pharmaceutical industry, specializing in biophysical characterization for protein-based drug development. As he rose through the corporate ranks, he encountered a harrowing psychological and spiritual trial that led him to leave his professional post in pursuit of truth and survival.
