Who am I and what do I do?In a recent devotional time, I was led to read Ephesians 4. I'vebeen enjoying The Passion Translation and the way the classicverse twelve was written seemed to encapsulate what I'mabout. The typical translation reads ""to equip the saints for thework of ministry"" (referring to why the gifts of the Spirit aregiven). But listen to how TPT says it.""And their calling is to nurture and prepare all the holybelievers to do their own works of ministry, and as they do thisthey will enlarge and build up the body of Christ.""Boom! My calling is to ""nurture and prepare"" believers so thatthey can do their own works of ministry, resulting in the bodyof Christ being built up.No matter the expression, I am singularly focused on nurturingand preparing believers.
