Belinda Gallagher is an experienced author and an editor. She has written a wide variety of books for children and young adults covering history, activity, novelty and science. Lucy Semple is an illustrator based in Nottinghamshire in the UK. She graduated with a degree from Loughborough University in Graphic Communication and Illustration. Specialising in children's illustration, Lucy enjoys channeling her creative energy into drawing bright and bold characters. Dougal Dixon is an award-winning author, geologist, palaeontologist and educator who has written several acclaimed titles on dinosaurs for adults and children. Dougal was presented with the Distinguished Achievement Award for Excellence in Educational Journalism by The Educational Press Association of America in 1993, The Children's Book Council 1994 Outstanding Trade Science Book Award, and the Times Educational Supplement Primary Schoolbook Award 1996. In 1996 he was appointed as a trustee of the Dinosaur Society, UK. In 2019, his ""When the Whales Walked"", was awarded the Children's Choice Award by the School Library Association. He has made several television appearances, and acted as a consultant and animator for a video programme about dinosaurs.
