Jack Perks is a wildlife photographer, TV presenter, writer and a leading expert on British fish. He has worked as a cameraman on various wildlife programmes, including Springwatch, Countryfile, The One Show and David Attenborough documentaries. As well as writing hundreds of articles for leading nature magazines, such as BBC Wildlife and Country Life, Jack is the author of Freshwater Fishes of Britain and Field Guide to Pond and River Wildlife. He is a vice president of WildFish Conservation.
