Reviews for Factology: Dinosaurs: Open Up a World of Information!

Factology: Dinosaurs & Other Prehistoric Creatures is an exciting delve into the lives of dinosaurs and their contemporaries, giving detailed depictions of their fearsome features. Covering topics from dinosaur family trees, evolution, to sea monsters, what is palaeontology and more, this book is an educational gem enriching science and history lessons. With its combination of visual appeal and informative content, it’s a real treasure for every home! * @inclusive_childrens_books * Each of these new titles in the series offers a fact-packed, fast paced introduction to the topic. Individual readers will choose according to their interest or perhaps on account of a current subject focus in their school. For instance the key stage 2 national curriculum requires that children learn about the Roman Empire and its impact on Britain. Each has full-colour photographs and illustrations together with an accessible, easy-to-follow, bite-sized text that offers a good introduction to its subject, explaining key concepts and highlighting significant events in a manner that is both clear and entertaining. I would advocate including all three books in both primary and secondary school collections. -- Jill Bennett * Red Reading Hub * Each book is brimming with facts, colour photography and illustration. With cool layouts and fun quizes they are so immersive and make for fantastic resources for learning. They will be a welcome addition to the children’s classroom. * @raising_bookworms * The subject matter is of course a big favourite with kids at any time of the year and this 98 odd page book follows the tried and tested Factology route of combining intersting snippets about the lives of our Dino heroes along with graphs, drawings and photos and covers a large amount of information in a fun approach along the way. Only Factology could show from the formation of the world 4.5 billion years ago (Hadean age) all the way through to today in the form of a clock (we are 1 minute to twelve). * Happy Families blog * The Factology series is an incredible brand-new series of non-fiction books. Each one is beautifully presented in such an engaging way and contains maps, timelines, statistics and over 500 illustrations. Last year we read and enjoyed the other titles in the series (Egypt, Space, The Human Body, Bugs) so we were excited to add these new books to our collection! Each book is brimming with facts and answers some fascinating questions. * @family_book_club * There's three brilliant new books in the Factology series from Button Books [@gmcpublications ] Recommended for KS2 Discover more about dinosaurs, revel in Roman life or explore aspects of AI and robotics in these three new titles. Packed with information, there's so much to learn on each page, all presented in a really engaging way for readers young and old. They make a great addition to the classroom and several cover popular science and history themes. Read them before the children and you'll be one step ahead and can amaze them with your knowledge too! * @mrsbrownsbookbox * Have you heard of the new educational series by Button Books - the Factology Series? They are brimming with facts for inquisitive and enquiring young minds and full of illustrations, activities and things to do! Latest to the series are books on dinosaurs, robots and romans! * @homeplayexplore *
