Bill Vassilopoulos is a survivor. His first book, ""Following the Fire,"" is about the life-changing events which rescued him from violence, addiction, and attempted suicide. Today he is a devoted husband to Trudy and an attentive father to Ashley, Anna, and Andreas, as well as a grandfather to three. As a former human services professional and former ASIST master trainer, he still advocates strongly for mental health resiliency. He writes books as well as blogs on the topic of suicide, available on his website (www.billvassilopoulos.com). His website also includes all the details of his plan to put forward a legislative bill, The Right to Live, that if enacted will come with a medical card.
