The interconnection between body and mind is central to understanding human well-being, influencing emotional, psychological, and physical health. Practices that harmonize the two can foster resilience, reduce stress, and improve quality of life, especially in times of societal or personal upheaval. Insights from both ancient traditions and modern science reveal that well-being thrives when physical vitality and mental balance coexist, challenging purely material or purely mental definitions of health. By embracing an integrative cross-cultural perspective, societies can promote more holistic approaches to health, community, cohesion, and personal fulfillment. Exploring Body-Mind Interactions and Their Impact on Well-Being: Holistic Practices explores relationships between body-mind practices and well-being. This book provides a holistic and transdisciplinary approach to understanding body-mind interactions. Covering topics such as mental health, holistic medicine, and well-being, this book is an excellent resource for researchers, practitioners, and students in fields such as medicine, psychology, psychiatry, art therapy, literature, and cultural studies.
