Lance Jepson is an honorary lecturer in Exotic Animal Medicine at the University of Liverpool Small Animal Hospital, where he runs a referral clinic for exotic pets as well as providing a lecture course covering ornamental fish, amphibians, reptiles, birds, and small mammals. Dr. Jepson developed his own exotics referral practice in South Wales (Vet4dragons) with clinics in both Neath and Haverfordwest. He lectures both nationally and internationally, contributes to veterinary texts, and provides regular health articles and advice to fish keeping magazines. Other than Exotic Animal Medicine, he has written four books, three on fish health and one on Mediterranean Tortoises
