Kuanysh S. Sazan’s Eurasian Authoritarianism offers a rigorous and original analysis of the historical continuities shaping authoritarian rule across Eurasia. By tracing the evolution of political traditions from nomadic empires to modern autocracies, the book provides a valuable conceptual framework for understanding the resilience and adaptability of authoritarian regimes. A significant contribution to comparative politics and Eurasian studies. -- Sebastien Peyrouse, George Washington University, USA
