Massimiliano Agovino is a Full Professor in Economic Policy at the Department of Economics, Law, Cybersecurity, and Sports Sciences of the University of Naples Parthenope. He is currently the head of the PhD Programme in Economics, Statistics and Sustainability. The main topics his research activities cover include the evaluation of active labour market policies for the inclusion of disadvantaged workers, the policies aiming to bridge gender differences, the evaluation of environmental policies and the analysis of convergence applied to environmental problems. Gaetano Musella is a Researcher in Economic Statistics at the Department of Management and Quantitative Studies of the University of Naples Parthenope. He has been Visiting Scholar at several European institutes, such as the Department of Economics of the University of Alicante (Spain), Tarki (Budapest, Hungary) and CELSI (Bratislava, Slovakia) institutes. His research interests focus on environmental economics, environmental policies and their evaluation, innovation systems and knowledge transfer, the structure of the labour market, and wage inequality.
