Catherine Halsall is a retired theological librarian interested in researching theology and history. She is the author of I Glanced Out the Window and Saw the Edge of the World, which addresses the horror of war and its effects on combatants and civilians both in war zones and on the home front. Importantly it also discusses biblical attitudes to warfare and the responsibility of the churches and its servants.
""Catherine Halsell shows Christians today can stand with Perpetua, one of the earliest female martyrs, when she said so long ago, 'I knew that I could speak with the Lord.'"" --Robin Hall, Former Educational Researcher, University of Technology, Sydney
