Dr Georgios Deirmentzoglou is an Assistant Professor in International Entrepreneurship, Technology, and Sustainable Development at Neapolis University Pafos (Cyprus). He holds a PhD in Business Administration, an MBA with a specialization in Total Quality Management and a BSc in Industrial Management and Technology. Before joining NUP, Georgios served as an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Piraeus and other colleges in Greece in partnership with UK and French universities. Georgios has extensive experience as a Scientific Coordinator in EU-funded projects, primarily focusing on digital transformation and sustainable development. His research interests focus on entrepreneurship, technological innovation, sustainable development, and tourism. Dr Eleni E. Anastasopoulou is a Lecturer in Sustainable Entrepreneurship at Neapolis University Pafos. She holds a Ph.D. in Sustainable Agri-food Entrepreneurship, an M.Sc. in Pharmacognosy and Chemistry of Natural Products, and a B.Sc. in Agriculture with a specialization in Food Science and Technology. Her research focuses on sustainable development, innovation in the agri-food and tourism sectors, and rural policies at national and European levels. She has published in high-impact journals, co-edited academic volumes, authored book chapters, and presented at international conferences. She also serves as Local Coordinator for the European University Alliance EMERGE and has extensive experience in EU-funded research projects. Valeska V. Geldres-Weiss is an Associate Professor of Marketing at the Department of Business and Economics, Faculty of Law and Business, Universidad de La Frontera, Chile. She holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration and Marketing from the University of Seville (Spain) and completed postdoctoral studies at the University of São Paulo (Brazil). Her academic and professional expertise lies in international business and marketing, export competitiveness, sustainability in global markets, and innovation in the agri-food sector. She has led and participated in interdisciplinary research projects with a strong publication record in high-impact journals. Dr. Geldres-Weiss has designed and delivered postgraduate courses in Chile, Poland, and Bolivia, focusing on international business strategy, trade data analysis, and sustainability standards. Her teaching integrates real-world tools such as TradeMap, Export Potential Map, and Market Access Map, fostering applied learning in multicultural environments. In 2025, she teaches the course Practical Business Creation (University Spin-Offs), part of the Entrepreneurship Minor offered by Universidad de La Frontera, which equips students with competencies to create technology-based enterprises from academic research. She served as the founding Dean of the Faculty of Law and Business at Universidad de La Frontera (2014–2020) and was the first woman to preside over the Chilean Association of Senior Executives of Business Schools (ASFAE). In the private sector, she co-founded and managed a Born-Global agrifood firm, successfully exporting to Europe and the Middle East. Her career bridges academia, policy, and practice in international business. Dr. Bojan Jovanovski holds a doctorate in Technical sciences in the field: Industrial Engineering and Management with a focus on Innovation Management, awarded by Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje. He is currently a Professor (FH) at the Institute of International Management at FH JOANNEUM in Graz, Austria, where he teaches and conducts research in innovation, particularly in the areas of small business competitiveness and sustainability innovation. entrepreneurship, and entrepreneurial learning, since 2006. He was involved in the development of the Ss. Cyril and Methodius Business Start-up Centre and later co-founded the NGO National Centre for Development of Innovation and Entrepreneurial Learning – Skopje. In 2024, Dr. Jovanovski founded the Startup Hub at FH JOANNEUM, which he is coordinating since. In the academic year 2024–2025, he is also the interim head of the Transfer Center at the Institute of International Management and Entrepreneurship at FH JOANNEUM. In recognition of his contributions to science and society, he became a member of the European Academy of Science and Arts in 2025. His publication record includes over 80 bibliographic units, such as scientific papers, teaching materials, research reports, and handbooks, and he has presented at more than 30 international conferences. His academic contributions also include participation in over 50 international and numerous national and industry projects. His activities have resulted with support of more than 50 start-ups, the development of high-school curricula on national level in North Macedonia, and the delivery of training programmes for companies, young professionals, entrepreneurs, and educators. Dr Andreas Masouras is an Associate Professor of Communication and Marketing in the Department of Economics & Business at Neapolis University. He holds a PhD with distinction from the Department of Political Science and International Relations at the University of the Peloponnese. The title of his doctoral dissertation is “Entrepreneurship and Competitiveness through the Lens of Institutional Analysis: The Case of Cyprus,” which is available in the National Archive of Doctoral Dissertations. He coordinates the following programs: the conventional MBA, the distance MBA (English-speaking), and the MBA in Tourism (distance learning). He is actively writing scientific articles and participates in international conferences. His book, “Entrepreneurship in Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises”, published by the American publishing house Nova, has been indexed in the Scopus book list.
