Engaging P-20 students, learners spanning from early childhood through graduate education, requires social studies instruction that reflects the complex, digital world. Modern social studies education emphasizes critical thinking, inquiry-based learning, and the integration of technology to help students better understand historical events, cultural diversity, civic responsibility, and global relations. By incorporating interactive resources, digital media, collaborative projects, and real-world problem solving, educators can make social studies more relevant and meaningful for learners. These approaches may increase students' understanding of society and history while fostering the skills needed for participation in the global community. Engaging P-20 Students Through Modern Social Studies Education explores how modern teaching strategies, technology, and interactive learning methods increase engagement among P-20 students in social studies education. It examines how innovative instructional approaches help students develop critical thinking, civic awareness, and a deeper understanding of historical and contemporary global issues. This book covers topics such as educational technology, student engagement, and civic engagement, and is a useful resource for educators, sociologists, academicians, researchers, and scientists.
