"This is a book about the supernatural, the paranormal, the occult and spiritual warfare. As the title promises, the writer gives a firsthand account of his encounters with God, angels, and demons. The book is set in three different continents and several countries.

The book takes the form of an autobiography. It tells in faithful detail how these unexpected encounters with beings both benign and malign unfolded. It also gives an account of how these encounters were connected to the more mundane aspects of the writer's life.

Expect some extraordinary glimpses of the hidden world in and around us. Expect also a conscientious effort to put this most unusual of tales in the context of biblical scriptures.

This book shows that the Scriptures do indeed speak to a real, immediate and readily accessible spiritual reality. It will be of great interest to those who would like to learn more about Christian living; spiritual epiphanies; angels; demons; Satanism and devil worship; witchcraft; the occult; and near-death experiences.

This book also addresses issues surrounding so-called extraterrestrials. It offers compelling evidence against the reductive materialist epistemes that have come to dominate science and academic enquiry post-Renaissance, and makes the case for genuine epistemological pluralism.

I may never have been to heaven or hell, but both have come to me. Literally.

Thus begins Ĩvia ya Ĩlũve's honest, humble, and achingly sincere autobiography and testimony of a life in which spirituality-in some form or other-has been inextricable from the everyday events of his life since earliest childhood. From Ĩlũve's complicated relationship with his family and his encounters with both catastrophic and mundane obstacles, to his unconditional faith in God during academic and corporate imprudence, missteps, misjudgments, and misapprehensions-this is the life of a man written with engaging clarity and freshness of language.

My father and paternal grandmother were keen to let me understand that I was a Mũoinĩ (i.e., ""witching people"") by clan.

There is something of an unspoken rule concerning autobiographies: Never start with your birth. This certainly applies to most writers and most lives. But Ĩlũve is not most writers, and Ĩlũve has not lived life like most. His story begins in an exotic landscape of distant lands, intra-clan rivalries, and family legacies: the ordinary world, where all good stories should begin. It just happens that Ĩlũve's ""ordinary world"" was populated by witchdoctors, werewolves, and shape-shifters.

In this book, Ĩlũve examines demonology, extraterrestrials, and the occult. He also considers pharmacology, psychology, and psychiatry, citing that mental health is much more than a disease of the brain and points those seeking lasting freedom from demonic oppression to Christ Jesus, whose compassion remains unchanged.

""Do you want to be helped?""

I answered and said, ""Yes. Please help me, Lord.""

And that was all the praying I did that morning.

There may be no prayer dearer to the heart of God."
