David M. Behrman attended Ohio State (BS, 1980), Duke (MS, 1987), and the University of North Carolina (MS, 1996) and taught mathematics for 19 years at Somerset Community College in Somerset, Kentucky, before retiring in 2017.  He studied German at the Goethe Institute (1979) on a summer fellowship from the DAAD, the German Academic Exchange Service, and he did some graduate work in chemistry at the University of Kentucky while on sabbatical leave (2005–06). Edward J. Behrman was born on December 13, 1930. He holds a B. S., Yale, 1952;  Ph.D., University of California, Berkeley, 1957;  postdoctoral work at Harvard & Brown, 1957–1964. Asst. Professor, Biochemistry, Ohio State University, 1965. Edward J. Behrman was Associate Professor, 1967, was Professor, 1969–2005, and is Professor Emeritus, 2005–present.
